Despite enviable brand recognition and a place in the hearts of most Newfoundlanders, Purity’s image was stagnating and the brand was increasingly seen as old-fashioned. To give Purity a dynamic, modern presence on social platforms, Prime developed a social media marketing strategy that capitalized on irreverent humour, supplemented by contests, seasonal content and heavily promoted Purity events in the community.
