We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist… with MacGyver-like skills. A person who is able to develop performance-oriented campaigns using the latest in search, display, social, and any of the other tricks available. You’ll apply your digital skills to our creative and get paid to do it.

Prime Creative is a full-service marketing agency with offices in St. John’s, Halifax and Charlottetown. We love innovation and applying it practically. Qualifications:

  • Agency or client-side experience in digital media planning, management and implementation.
  • Degree or diploma from a post-secondary institution in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in Google Ads and social media paid ads.
  • Capable of generating accurate, useful reports as well as an enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives.
  • Attention to detail and time management to deliver high-quality work for multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Have a creative mind and lots of ideas – brainstorming independently or as part of a team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with our Creative team to evaluate client needs with regards to digital ads.
  • Responsible for planning and executing digital media buys, reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze market research and study demographic data for a wide range of digital media vehicles to determine the most effective approach to reach target audience.
  • Prepare digital media plans, analyze results and make recommendations based on strategic direction provided.
  • Analyze and review ads across digital platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Keep current on all digital media trends and technologies.
  • Work on client websites to assist with SEO improvements.

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Google Ads (Google Partners) and/or Facebook Blueprint certifications.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a Digital Developer/Designer with MacGyver like skills. A person who is able to develop websites and innovative, performance-oriented campaigns using the latest digital marketing techniques. Applying the latest trends in design and development, and any of the other tricks up your sleeves, you’ll lead our digital push.

Job Description

As the Digital Developer/Designer, you will be responsible for providing conceptual and visual support to the Creative Director and other creative team members, while being able develop and perform QA on the agency’s digital creative.

The successful candidate will have a passion for all areas of communications with a specific focus on the digital world – with the ability to both conceptualize and produce elements from start to finish.

Primary Responsibilities

Core Disciplines

  • Manage personal timelines and workloads
  • Work with other members of the Creative Department to develop creative strategies
  • Interact directly with clients presenting work and receiving/managing feedback
  • Interact and direct external resources and suppliers to achieve ideal results for client deliverables
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience for each project
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with relevant team members to aid in campaign development
  • Be a student of web design and advertising – stay on top of trends and maintain best practices

Campaign Development

  • Apply a strong integrated approach to campaign development
  • Work with creative team members to determine how best to represent a concept visually – cross platform
  • Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
  • Develop the overall look or style of campaign elements including, but not limited to digital advertising
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas

Website Design

  • Demonstrate a full understanding of website design process
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of SEO techniques and implementation
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of HTML, CSS, and Wordpress CMS
  • Consult with the account team on website design budgets and proposals
  • Lead website designs and builds
  • Perform/oversee website maintenance and assist in reporting including preparation of analytics reviews, ongoing SEO recommendations and implementation

UX/UI Design 

  • Stay up-to-date with current design trends and best practices
  • Design wireframes and content architecture customized to each client’s unique needs
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)

Email Marketing 

  • Aid in the creation of content
  • Assist in analytics and reporting as needed
  • Experience with Campaign Monitor is an asset

Paid Advertising (Digital) – Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google AdWords, YouTube

  • Conceptualization and design of ads and content appropriate for each audience and platform

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years proven and successful experience in the field of marketing
  • Attention to detail and time management to deliver high-quality work for multiple projects
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Have a creative mind and lots of ideas – brainstorming independently or as part of a team
  • Experience and technical understanding of SEO?and UX/UI Standards
  • Previous experience in advertising agency is an asset
  • Proficient in CMS platforms and HTML/CSS
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
